When did you first begin playing hockey and how did you get started? I began skating when I was three years old. My Dad would take me to the rink down in the Beaches where I would skate together with my brother.

Who has had the most influence on you (parent, coach, teammate) & Why?  My father because he was once a very good hockey player, and now helps me practice and stay focused.

Who do you pattern your game after and why? I pattern my game after Sidney Crosby because he is a great leader and athlete.

What jersey number do you wear & significance? I wear the jersey #10 because I was born on the 10th day of the month, and because one of my favourite players George Armstrong, who was the Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs when they last won the Stanley Cup, also wore the #10.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions (what do you do & why)? On game days I like to get to the rink 1.5 hours early.  I often say a private prayer.  I always hydrate with 2/3 of a bottle.

What is your most memorable hockey moment and why? Winning the Silver Stick!

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be and why? Oprah Winfrey,Justin Timberlake, and Carlos Slim because they are all very interesting people, and have been extremely successful in their chosen fields.

The one thing people don't know about me is: I like to play the drums and sing.
