PLAYER'S COMMENTS

Who has had the most influence on you (parent, coach, teammate) & Why? My hockey coaches. Even my first coach taught me to work hard and think smart in my game.  My other coaches taught me the proper plays to make and made me want to be a good teammate and hockey player.

Who do you pattern your game after and why?  Steven Stamkos.   I try to skate hard like him and shoot hard like him.  He’s my favourite player and he gets lots of goals.

What jersey number do you wear & significance?  I wear # 82.   I like having the #8 in my jersey.  When I was at Meadowvale I was #28 so I just flipped it.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions (what do you do & why)?  During playoffs I don’t tape my stick.

What is your most memorable hockey moment and why?  Being given the MPV trophy by Mississauga Major Hazel Macallion and being in the newspaper in Mississauga for winning our championship.  Everybody took tons of pictures of me and our team.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be and why?  Steven Stamkos – because he is my favourite hockey player; Will Farrell – because he makes me laugh. Not sure.

The one thing people don't know about me is:  I am double jointed in my arms, I can bend them awkwardly.
