On an early June evening the 2001 Toronto Marlboros congregated once again at Centennial Ski Chalet to not only get sized for their upcoming Minor Peewee season, but to meet some new additions to the "Marlboro Family."
After over a month off of the regular hockey season, the evening couldn't have been more perfect. Great weather, great food, great wine and even better company made for a wonderful night.
Coach Gialedakis introduced three new families to the Marlboro parents and the team immediately embraced their new teammates. There was talk of fundraising, the upcoming August training camp as well as simply catching up with one another after several weeks apart.
The entire Marlboro organization took part in this social affair and shared hockey stories, summer plans and a common denominator; excitement over the upcoming hockey season.
The 2001 Toronto Marlboros celebrated a great year and are looking forward to repeating the success of the past.
